Two stores robbed on Monday, second time in two months

By LYNETTE SOWELL Cove Leader-Press   The 7-Eleven located at 501 N. 1st St. was the scene of an aggravated robbery early Monday morning for the second time in as many months.   At 3:32 a.m., Copperas Cove Police responded to a report of an aggravated robbery at that location.

By PAMELA GRANT Cove Leader-Press   Copperas Cove’s Quality of Life Advisory Board met on Thursday for its second and final meeting of 2016.   Previously there were two separate advisory boards; the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board and the Golf Advisory Board.

The dog grooming business gave all of the shelter’s adoptable animals a bath in preparation for December’s free pet adoption days at the shelter. In January 2017, the groomer is donating 10 percent of its $35 bath special to the shelter..
