Holy Family Catholic Church to host Fall Fest on Sunday

By LYNETTE SOWELL  Cove Leader-Press    Holy Family Catholic Church’s 10th annual Fall Fest is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 29, from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the church grounds.  The church’s annual fundraiser promises to provide family fun to welcome the fall season.

Copperas Cove man dies in Thursday head-on collision

By LYNETTE SOWELL Cove Leader-Press   An early-morning crash on F.M. 116 North around 4:25 a.m. Thursday injured one man and left another dead at the scene. Texas Department of Public Safety troopers responded to the accident scene, near the intersection of F.M. 116 and Lonesome Oak Road.
