Girl Scouts begin annual cookie sales, share goals for travel and learning

By LYNETTE SOWELL  Cove Leader-Press    Covites have joined in the annual hunt, also known as Girl Scout Cookie season, which kicked off on Jan. 20 and continues until Feb. 28.  This year, there are 11 troops selling cookies in Copperas Cove, with some selling door to door.

Copperas Cove's Crossroads High graduates 32

Coryell County COVID-19 cases increase by 400 from Jan. 5-21

By LYNETTE SOWELL  Cove Leader-Press    As of the Thursday, Jan. 21 update posted by Coryell County, positive COVID-19 cases rose from Jan. 5 through Jan. 21, by 400 cases.  The Jan. 5 update noted a total of 2,164 total cases, with 557 of those cases active at that time.
