By TJ MAXWELL Cove Leader-Press WACO - The Copperas Cove Tennis team had one of their best outings in recent history, bringing home 13 medals from the Robinson Rocket Invitational in Waco last Friday.

Despite the loss, the Bulldawgs wrapped up the fourth spot in the playoffs where they will face No. 2 Cedar Park at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Glen Rose High School.

By JACK JOHNSON Special to the Leader-Press The Copperas Cove Bass Club held its first tournament of the 2017 season on Lake Waco on Saturday, Jan. 28. The weather predictions were for a very cold 33-degree temperature at launch time with only a high of 48 degrees predicted for the day.
