Brandi Michelle Buckley,, age 38, of Gatesville passed away Wednesday,  April 22, 2015. A private celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Scott’s Funeral Home of Gatesville is in charge of arrangements.

Lorene Allen, 88, of Lampasas passed away on Monday, April 20, 2015 in Lampasas. Graveside Services will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Capital Memorial Gardens in Pflugerville, Texas. Visitation was held on Tuesday at Scott’s Funeral Home in Copperas Cove.

Michael Lovelady, age 20 of Nolanville, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2015. Services were held Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Clear Creek Baptist Church,  350 FM 2657 in Kempner. Burial followed at Clear Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Steve Carruthers, of Kerrville TX, whose Obituary appeared 4/14/15, was the Husband of Rachael McDonnell Carruthers, formerly of Copperas Cove. She moved to Kerrville six years ago to share his laughter and blend their animals: her dogs and his cats.”

Rufus Oakley Hill, 79, of Kempner passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2015, at his home in Kempner while surrounded by his loved ones. Services for Mr. Hill will be held on Friday, April 17, 2015 at 4:00 PM, at the First Baptist Church in Copperas Cove with Dr. Mark Kemp officiating.

Lourdes Alvarez Oritz was born on April 19, 1936 in Ponce, Puerto Rico, the youngest of five children, to Angel Alvarez Alvarez and Josefina Velez Sanabria. Lourdes was a traditional mother and wife who along with Juan loved to cook and entertain for family and friends.
