Copperas Cove delays opening city pools

By LYNETE SOWELL  Cove Leader-Press    Last year, the city’s pools delayed opening on Memorial Day weekend and reduced capacity due to COVID-19 restrictions.  This year, City Park pool will not be open for Memorial Day weekend, and it was uncertain as of press day when South Park pool would open.

Copperas Cove teen receives Make A Wish

By BRITTANY FHOLER Cove Leader-Press   Make A Wish of Central and South Texas surprised a Copperas Cove student last Friday with his wish.  James Braden Charles, 18, was first diagnosed with osteosarcoma in July 2018 at age 15.
