The Coryell County Republican Party will host its annual Fish Fry at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26, at the Texas Station Event Center, 305 Old Fort Gates Rd.
Keynote speakers include D’Rinda Randall, chair of the Texas Republican Party, and Texas State Senator Pete Flores.
Randall has served in nearly every level of party leadership, from Precinct Chair and House District Chair to Presiding Election Judge. She has also served as a campaign strategist, Alternate Delegate to the 2016 Republican National Convention, and was a previous Vice Chair of the Republican Party of Texas.
She was elected Chair of the Republican Party of Texas with more than 80% of the vote.
Sen. Flores was first elected during a special election in 2018. He served the state for 27 years as a Texas Game Warden, achieving the rank of Colonel prior to his retirement in 2012. In previous service, Senator Flores was appointed by Governor Perry to serve on the State Employee Charitable Campaign Committee and was appointed by Governor Greg Abbott to serve as a commissioner on the Education Commission of the United States.
In 2025, Senator Flores was named Chairman of the Senate General Investigating Committee on the July 2025 Flooding Events, and Vice-chair of the Select Committee on Disaster Preparedness and Flooding.
In March of 2024, Senator Flores co-founded, along with several House members, the Texas Hispanic Republican Caucus, with the goal to amplify the voices and priorities of conservative Hispanics from across the state.
