On Wednesday morning, the Central Texas Veterans Health Care System (CTVHCS) announced that the ground-breaking ceremony for the VA Clinic in Copperas Cove is set for Thursday, Oct. 8 at 10 a.m.
The ceremony will take place at 552 Robert Griffin III Blvd.
The 256,188-square-foot, two-story clinic will offer veterans a full range of services, to include a Women’s Clinic, Imaging, Dental, Endoscopy, Primary Care, Social Work, Dermatology, and Cardiology.
Back in February of this year, an announcement was made that Copperas Cove was selected at the site of the new health care facility, which is said to be bringing 500 jobs to the community.
At that time, it was also said that construction is expected to be completed by the second quarter of fiscal year 2029, and the VA anticipates welcoming patients by the 4th quarter of fiscal year 2029.
The clinic will be built on an approximately 22-acre parcel of land located in The Narrows Business & Technology Park.
