Metroplex Hospital and the Adventist Health System held a scheduled planting for a new garden located behind the hospital in Killeen leading up to Earth Day from 2-4p.m. last Thursday. Community vegetable gardens are becoming more popular as people aim for a healthy and a fresh lifestyle especially with the increase of produce prices.
