Food For Families food drive gathers thousands of pounds of food

Three local agencies, My Brother’s House food pantry, Baptist Benevolence and Cove House will each be receiving a little more than 20,000 pounds of food each after Friday’s day-long food drive at the Copperas Cove H-E-B Plus!.

 

The total amount brought in for Copperas Cove was 60,100 pounds of food. The 26th annual event took place statewide, with donors dropping off their food and financial donations at dropoff points set up at area H-E-B stores.
