Failed vegetable growers invited to garden class series

Whether you’ve got a green thumb or a brown one for failing to grow healthy vegetables in the swelteringheat of South Texas, the  Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service for Hidalgo County is offering a series of classes to improve your skills and go organic. AgriLife Extension is offering their annual evening gardening class series, Vegetable Gardening Using Organic Methods, from 6–8:30 p.m Aug. 11- 14 at the North San Juan Community Center, 509 E. Nolana Loop, north of San Juan.
