Cove residents observe National Day of Prayer

Approximately 30 members of Copperas Cove area churches gathered on Thursday at the Robertson Avenue Baptist Church for the annual observance of the National Day of Prayer.
The Copperas Cove Ministerial Alliance hosted the event with local pastors and church leaders each taking a turn to pray for different areas of vital concern to the community, as well as the country.
Pastor Russ Cochran of Refuge Ministries welcomed those who came to the prayer event, with the 2016 theme of “Wake Up America.”
