Area students participate in criminal justice competition

Law enforcement officials arrived at Copperas Cove High School Friday and Saturday afternoon to assist in fingerprinting and felony traffic stops on the campus as part of a criminal justice competition. Chantel Neal, law instructor and Criminal Justice Club sponsor at Copperas Cove High School, said the purpose of the competition was to showcase area students’ interest in law enforcement, legal and firefighting careers.
