Hart wins runoff election for Copperas Cove city council Place 6

By LYNETTE SOWELL Cove Leader-Press   Vonya Hart will be the next member of the Copperas Cove city council after winning today’s runoff election. Polls closed at 7 p.m., with the results showing that Hart received a total of 594 votes, or 57.28 percent.  Terri Deans received 443 votes, or 42.

By LYNETTE SOWELL Cove Leader-Press    Early voting starts Monday for the Dec. 8 runoff election for Copperas Cove city council place 6.  Voting will take place at the Copperas Cove Early Voting Center, located at 508-B Cove Terrace Shopping Center.  Polls will be open from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.

By BRITTANY FHOLER  Cove Leader-Press    Terri Deans and Vonya Hart will be heading to a run-off election following the Nov. 3 general election for City Council Place 6.  The votes were tallied and final unofficial results were released Tuesday evening a couple hours after the polls closed.
