Services for John William McLendon, 81 of Copperas Cove are set for 11 am today, at the First Baptist Church of Copperas Cove. Rev. Mark Kemp will officiate. Burial will follow in the Copperas Cove City Cemetery.   Mr. McLendon passed away Saturday, October 8, 2016 in a Temple hospital.

God graced this world with Slayton Scott Seward on November 14, 1988 in Fredericksburg, Texas. His Lord and Savior welcomed him home on September 8, 2016 from Copperas Cove, Texas.   Slayton lived the first 12 years of his life in Llano before moving to Copperas Cove in 2001.
