18-year-old Dezay Mario Cooks was arrested by Copperas Cove police on Christmas Eve for an aggravated robbery which occurred on December 19.

Central Texas College (CTC) recently announced Brenda Coley has been sworn in as its newest member of the board of trustees. Coley replaced Scott Isdale who resigned his Place 5 seat in October. She will assume the remaining four years of Isdale’s six-year term.
