Community invited to Angel Tree event for crime victims’ families

Volunteers needed for veterans cemetery wreath preparation, placement

By LYNETTE SOWELL Cove Leader-Press    Every year, volunteers place thousands of wreaths on soldiers’ graves at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.  Last year, there were about 9,500 graves, and this year there are nearly 11,000.

Star Group- Veterans Helping Veterans distributes 550 Thanksgiving baskets
