Young entrepreneurs have one more chance to prep for OSCAR’s Market

The final preparation workshop is coming up soon for young entrepreneurs to prepare for OSCAR’s Market, coming up on Saturday, April 15.  

A final prep workshop is set for Saturday, April 1, from 9-11:30 a.m.

OSCAR’s Market began last year, created by the Aspiring Professionals of Copperas Cove, to educate and encourage local youth to pursue entrepreneurship. 

The kids are learning to develop their own brand, create their own product or service, along with their marketing strategy, and will display and sell their items at the one-day market at Ogletree Gap Park. The booth cost for kids is $25.

During the event, the young entrepreneurs will all be competing for a scholarship as well as booth space at Rabbit Fest coming up in May. 

Their product, brand, and setup will be judged on how well it is marketed and displayed at the the market.
