Trustees ok trip to Florida

A group of approximately 30 educators and administrators will soon be preparing to attend the FETC National Technology Conference in Orlando, Florida from January 20-23, 2015. The school board approved the trip during a special meeting on Thursday, when they also approved the reassignment of then-principal of CCHS, Earl Parcell, to the position of Director of Instructional Technology. “I do not have a breakdown of the cost right now, but we will be using Title II part A money,” Burns. told the board. “Those are federal dollars we have to spend specifically to enhance the skill set of our teachers and principals.”
