Thousands turn out to lay wreaths for veterans

Thousands arrived at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery south of Killeen on Saturday morning to remember and lay wreaths at the graves of their loved ones. Saturday was a cold, rainy and windy day with a temperature hovering around 36 degrees and the air feeling like 29.

 

This land is sacred and is the final resting place of many, many veterans who served and protected this great country.
