On Saturday the former H-E-B parking lot was filled with celebration of a milestone for Pink Warrior Angels, a nonprofit founded by Covite Julie Moser, a nearly three-year survivor of breast cancer.

The group began its work in July 2015, and Saturday’s event also featured a ribbon cutting as the nonprofit joined the Copperas Cove Chamber of Commerce.

In addition to the ribbon cutting, the event featured free food, games, along with more than a dozen vendors set up in the parking lot. The morning had performances by Polynesian dancer, Zumba, and martial arts demonstrations by Self Defense America.
