Loss of Impact Aid moves district to more budgeting

With news that the Copperas Cove Independent School District will lose about $16 million in Heavy Impact Aid for the upcoming school year, CCISD superintendent Joe Burns said parents have had a few questions. The district is budgeting as many families and businesses do, Burns said. “We’re cutting those costs and trying to match up to the revenue we receive,” he said.
