Highway 9 closed for repairs on Thursday

    Copperas Cove area drivers who use State Highway 9 will need to find an alternate route on Thursday, Aug. 25, due to road and bridge repairs being made that day.

    According to a press release from the Texas Department of Transportation, the entire westbound exit ramp from I-14 that leads onto Highway 9 will be closed, as will the eastbound lane of Highway 9 for bridge repairs.

    Also, on Wednesday, Aug. 24, drivers should watch for lane closures on eastbound I-14/190 near the Clarke Road exit, as work crews repair potholes.
