    1804 signatures collected for liquor petition

    Collecting the final pages of signatures of the liquor petition, Mitch Lofton did a quick count claiming a small victory in adding the option to sell liquor and mixed drinks to the November ballot. What started as a fab five quickly grew to 18 members seeking out the required 1,647 registered voters to sign the petition during a 60-day period.
