    Cove community honors police chief with memorial

    On Friday morning, several hundred assembled in Lea Ledger Auditorium to remember and say goodbye to Copperas Cove’s chief of police, Tim Molnes.
     
    Molnes passed away on May 31 after a long illness which he fought for several years.
     
    That fight, along with the spirit of community service combined with his love of family, were remembered along with Molnes’ legacy.
