Copperas Cove VFW site of local candidate forum on Thursday

With the start of early voting for the March 3 Primary Election one week away, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8577 will be the site of a candidate forum on Thursday, Feb. 13, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The post is located at 1506 Veterans Ave. 
Candidates for several county races will be in attendance to include Coryell County sheriff, Coryell County constable, county Republican party chair, and candidates for District 59 in the Texas House of Representatives. 

Coryell County Sheriff candidates: 
Scott A. Williams (incumbent) 
Roger Hammack 

Coryell County Constable, precinct 2:
Shawn Camp (incumbent)
Chuck Wilson 

Coryell County Republican Party chair:
Jack Barcroft (incumbent)

Texas District 59 candidates:
Cody Johnson, Stephenville 
J.D. Sheffield, Gatesville (incumbent) 
Shelby Slawson, Stephenville
