Copperas Cove Farmer’s Market opens Thursday

The Copperas Cove Farmer’s Market will open for the season on Thursday, May 6, and take place every Thursday through October from 4-7 p.m. at the corner of Avenue D and South 2nd Street. 
The only exception to the Thursday schedule will be Thursday, May 13, when the annual Rabbit Fest kicks off at City Park. 
This is the fifth year for the market, and the second year it will be held in downtown Copperas Cove.
So far, there are 16 vendors who have signed up for a spot this season, with 13 to be set up at Thursday’s first market. 
Returning vendors include Things and Such, Burro Malo Farm, Kim’s Seasonal Sweets, Ware Honey Farm, Holman’s Veggies, Paul Carella Crafts, Pelayo Paintings. New for this year are Heike Noble, Kimberlai Co., Pots with Personality, Pure Skin Repair, and My Greeting Card. 
Also, Mama Lama Food Truck will be onsite. 
The market is still seeking vendors to apply, with the cost being $25 for the season.
