Copperas Cove city council, school board races to be decided Tuesday

Voters go to the polls Tuesday for the general and special elections for the city of Copperas Cove.
Four seats on the Copperas Cove city council will be decided today, as well as one position on the Copperas Cove Independent School District board of trustees, and 10 state ballot propositions.
The two-week early voting period saw 1,076 voters casting ballots in Copperas Cove, 1,090 voters casting ballots in Gatesville, and 37 mail-in ballots being received by the county voter registrar, for a total of 2,203 votes in Coryell County.
Polls are open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. today.
Polling locations in Copperas Cove include:
Copperas Cove Civic Center, 1206 W. Avenue B
Holy Family Catholic Church, 1201 Veterans Ave.
Eastside Baptist Church, 1202 MLK Jr. Blvd.
Other voting locations in Coryell County include:
Gatesville Voting Center 801 E. Leon St., Gatesville
Gatesville Civic Center 303 Veterans Memorial Loop, Gatesville
Evant City Hall 598 E Hwy 84, Evant
Flat Community Center 159 CR 334, Flat
Oglesby Community Center 118 Main St., Oglesby

Copperas Cove votesr who vote in Lampasas County may vote at the following locations:
Kempner Fire Dept. Training Ctr. 315 Pecan St., Kempner
Lampasas New Covenant Church, 1604 Central Texas Expressway, Lampasas
Lometa Justice of the Peace Bldg. 104 North 4th St., Lometa
Registered voters may vote at any polling location in the county in which they reside.
Voters must present one of the following forms of identification to vote:
Texas driver license issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS); Texas Election Identification Certificate issued by DPS; Texas personal identification card issued by DPS; Texas concealed handgun license issued by DPS; United States military identification card containing the person’s photograph; United States citizenship certificate containing the person’s photograph; United States passport.
