Concrete and Curb Work to temporarily close MLK Jr Drive intersection at Business 190

Drivers in Copperas Cove will need to pay a little closer attention to their travel along East Business 190 and the intersection of MLK Jr. Drive.
Starting Monday, Aug. 1, MLK Jr. Drive will be closed near the intersection at Business 190, the Texas Department of Transportation announced on Friday.
Also, the two inside lanes approaching the Business 190/MLK Jr Drive intersection will be closed.
The lane closure as so work crews can pour concrete and curb work in the area.
This section of construction work will take place over the course of about one week.
TxDOT said it encourages motorists to slow down, pay attention, and eliminate distractions driving through work zones.
