City staff lends legs in LETR

Aiding the Copperas Cove Police Department in the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics were city staff and department heads as the torch wound its way through the city streets,
visiting Fairview/Miss Jewell Elementary students during their two-mile route that started at the department headquarters. Joining the police department on the run were members of the Copperas Cove Fire Department, City Manager Andrea Gardner, Department of Public Works Director Daryl Uptmore, and Budget Director Ryan Haverlah as they raise awareness before the summer games that began with the opening ceremonies Thursday in Arlington.
