Armor of God Radio Network expands coverage area
Special to the Leader-Press
The Armor of God Radio Network has expanded and added 2 stations in the Temple/Belton area.
The flagship station, KOOV, 106.9fm is based in Copperas Cove, and it is joined by KTON, 1330am and K230CH, 93.9fm.
This expansion will stretch the Catholic Radio coverage to over 1.2 million people all over Central Texas.
Now, Armor of God will reach as far west as Lampasas and Lometa, north to McGregor and Temple, east out to Hearne and Franklin, and south down to Cedar Park, Georgetown, Hutto and Taylor.
“This is an amazing opportunity to bring Catholic Radio to more people in Central Texas, we are honored and humbled by the support and prayers from all our donors and listeners.” said the newest member of the Board of Directors, Paul De Rosa. “For all the people that have enjoyed their sports programming over 1330am and 93.9fm, give us at least 24-48 hours, and I am certain that you’ll find a program that you will enjoy.”
Armor of God Catholic Radio Network has been a part of the Central Texas airwaves since 2018, and has served a very important role within the community providing the voice of reason and helping Christians and non-Christians alike grow closer to our Lord and to each other.
The transition on Friday, December 15, was a ‘soft opening’, as a larger ceremony is planned for the New Year.
The station’s programs include a variety of live call-in shows and interviews on many different topics involving spirituality, marriage, family and personal well-being, and the Daily Mass; as well as pre-recorded shows featuring Bible studies, news, and cultural programs.
The detailed schedule can be found at the Network’s website: armorofgodradio.com. There you can also find links to the social media sites and download the official App and take Catholic Radio with you everywhere.
