Lampasas EDC hosts job fair Thursday

Local job hunters will have a “one-stop shop” on Thursday, June 8, when the Lampasas Economic Development Corporation hosts its annual job fair from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Lampasas County Higher Education Center, located at 208 E. Avenue B, Lampasas. 
The annual summer event features employers in industries such as healthcare, automotive, manufacturing, retail, technology, hospitality, and more. 
Attendees should bring their current resume’ and be prepared for on-the-spot interviews. 
At this point, participating businesses include Workforce Solutions of Central Texas, Hill Country Community Action Association, First State Bank of Burnet, Oil States, Best Western, Visiting Angels, Texas Legato Winery, Subway, R&M Transportations, Builder Homesite, Inc., Lampasas County, the City of Lampasas, Domino’s Pizza, Horseshoe Bay Resort, Caprock Home Health, Cedar Hill Centre, Garner Insurance, Schlotzsky’s, Area Wide Locksmith, Pizza Werx, Golden Chick, Whataburger, CEFCO, Ajinomoto Foods, and MK Legacy Electrical.
