Copperas Cove Veterans’ Day parade latest event casualty of COVID-19

Copperas Cove ISD to see increase in on-campus learners starting Tuesday

By LYNETTE SOWELL  Cove Leader-Press    On Tuesday the second six weeks of school for Copperas Cove Independent School District will begin, with on-campus learner numbers to increase.  During the first six weeks, a total of 4,766 were learning on campus and 3,213 were virtual, at-home students.

Copperas Cove cases climb, yet active cases dip as of Monday

By LYNETTE SOWELL  Cove Leader-Press    As of Monday’s weekly report from the City of Copperas Cove, there are 62 active, positive-confirmed cases of COVID-19 within the city limits, out of 343 positive cases, which are up 19 overall from last week’s report.

Abbott reopens most of state to 75%, nursing homes may allow visitors
