    On Friday it looked like the Copperas Cove Lady Dawgs softballteam may have been in over their heads against the 25thranked Timberview Lady Wolves, losing a 13-2 decision after leading 2-0 early in Game 1 of the best-of-three bi-district playoff series at the Waco ISD Softball Complex in Waco. Saturday told another story. Cove took the stateranked Timberview squad to extra innings but eventually fell 7-6 in the eighth.
