HOUSTON - Clutch is a word that is used often in sports, but the most recent accomplishment for Cove seventh-grader, Elle Fox, could be listed in the dictionary as a reference sentence for the definition. It would read something like this, ‘Copperas Cove junior golfer Elle Fox finished third in the local Drive, Chip and Putt competition and second in the sub-regional, but the clutch seventh-grader outlasted the competition at the Regional Finals in Houston to qualify for the National Championship in Augusta.’
