RGIII, “Peanut” Tillman film USAA commercial in Cove

Fans gathered outside the Copperas Cove High School athletic annex on Wednesday in anticipation of meeting and tossing the ball around with NFL superstars and former Cove standouts, Robert Griffin III and Charles “Peanut” Tillman. More than 40 soldiers and their family members joined RGIII and Peanut Tillman in the filming of the latest United Services Automobile Association (USAA) commercial honoring the men and women of the military on Wednesday. RGIII and Peanut Tillman reflected on their times roaming the hallways at Copperas Cove High School and their connection to the military during the nearly three hour filming session that culminated in a little 7-on-7 flag football action with soldiers from the area.
