The Copperas Cove Bulldawg baseball team wanted to begin their 2015 season undefeated and as champions of their own tournament. One out of two isn’t bad. The Bulldawgs easily downed Hays Lehman 7-3 in their first tournament action before earning a playoff win over Trinity Valley in the afternoon game on Friday. The game finished in an 8-8 tie but Cove (2-0) earned thewin with head-to-head tiebreakers after outhitting Trinity Valley 12-5.
