Cove’s youth needs to trump experience at state 7on7

The Copperas Cove Bulldawgs 7on7 team will make its return to the Adidas Texas State 7on7 Championships this weekend in the 128-team tournament scheduled for July 7-9 at the Veterans Park and Athletic Complex in College Station.
 
The District 8-6A Dawgs will need to finish in the top two out of the four teams in Pool G – District 4-5A Abilene Cooper, District 18-6A Houston Lamar and District 11-6A Mesquite – in order to advance to the championship bracket to begin play at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
 
The 3rd- and 4th-place teams move to the consolation bracket with play beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday.
