Morrison again clinches regional berth with third-place finish at blustery District 12-6A tournament in Waco

WACO – Copperas Cove senior Tyler Morrison battled blustery conditions to clinch her second-consecutive trip to the Region II-6A with a third overall finish at the District 12-6A tournament at Cotton wood Creek in Waco held Wednesday and Friday.
Morrison knows she didn’t play her best game but is thankful she gets a chance to redeem herself at regionals
“It feels really great,” Morrison said of her regional qualification. “I’m excited to compete in regionals but, hopefully, I do lot better than I did here at district.”
