Team effort guides Cove past Horn for first Regional bid in almost a decade

It didn’t take long to see that the Copperas Cove Lady Dawg volleyball team was lazer-focused on the task at hand. The nerves from their first playoff endeavor had dissipated and they were ready to roll, and that they did, right over Mesquite Horn 3-0 (25-13, 25-18, 25-12). “Not so many nerves tonight,” said Copperas Cove head coach Cari Lowery about her team’s performance. “A lot of stuff went right.
