12U Royals complete District 4 sweep

The 12U Royals completed their dominating run through the Texas Teenage Baseball District 4 tournament in Lampasas. After the domination of fellow Cove team the Rangers on Monday 14-2, they returned to action on Wednesday with a 22-0 blanking of the Belton Mets before closing out the tournament on Thursday with another shutout win over the Lampasas Yellowjackets 12-0. The Royals out-scored their opponents 48-2 en route to the crown. TheRoyals now await the start of the 12U TTAB State Tournament in Belton on July 21-25. First pitch is slated 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
