Raymond Lee Roberts

Raymond L. Roberts, 67, of Copperas Cove passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2017. A Memorial Service will be held at 9:00 am, Friday, June 9, 2017, at Scott’s Funeral Home of Copperas Cove. Burial of his cremated remains will follow at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.

Raymond was born on April 3, 1950, in St. Joseph, Missouri to Vera and Theodore Roberts.  He was raised with two siblings, one sister, Beverly and one brother, Allen.  He graduated from Benton High School and enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1970.  While in the Army, he was stationed in the U.S., South Korea, West Germany and was last stationed at Fort Hood.  After he retired from the Army, he worked at AAFES and Firestone until he retired.

Raymond was preceded in death by his father, Theodore Roberts.

Raymond is survived by his mother Vera Roberts St. Joseph, MO; sister Beverly Roberts, St. Louis, MO; brother Allen Roberts, St. Joseph, MO; children; Cindy Gager and husband Ron, Lawton, OK; Stephen Roberts and wife Judy, Morrow, OH; Christopher Roberts and husband Ben, Greensboro, NC; 5 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
