Patricia Ledesma

Patricia Ledesma, 48, of Copperas Cove passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 in Temple. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at Scott’s Funeral Home of Copperas Cove. 

 

Patricia was born in Christiansted, Virgin Islands on March 17, 1967 to Jose and Carmen DeJesus Ledesma. She graduated from St. Croix Central High School in Christiansted. Patricia worked as a cook at Lighthouse Missions for many years and enjoyed servicing the homeless in her community. She had a servant heart, always looking for ways to help others. Patricia loved the Lord and was faithful at Southgate Baptist Church in the Virgin Islands. After moving to Copperas Cove, she was involved in the First Baptist Church in Cove where she made many friends. Patricia loved quilting with the ladies from the church.

 

Patricia was preceded in death by her father in 2007.

 

Patricia is survived by her daughter, Sarah V. Simons; son, Michael J. Leon; granddaughter, Angelene Carmen Prince; mother, Carmen DeJesus Ledesma; sister, Nilsa Santana; and nieces, Jessica E. Santana, Anisa M. Santana.  

 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to First Baptist Church, 300 West Ave B, Copperas Cove, TX 76522.

 

Scott’s Funeral Home of Copperas Cove is in charge of arrangements.
