Our beautiful, strong and courageous mother, Fujie Kudo Painter, age 95, of Lampasas & Houston, Texas passed away on Friday, December 24, 2021. Our Mother was born January 14, 1926 in Ueno, Japan to parents Tokugeero Kudo and Kein Myataki. 
She married the late Chester H. Painter in 1951, and they spent 56 wonderful years together. She was always full of joy, and loved to cook for everyone and enjoy all their smiles and laughter. 
Having her friends over to play cards and singing Karaoke, loved entertaining.
 Our mother was survived by her three children, Michael Painter, wife Katherine, Phyllis Christlieb, husband Isaac, Shirley Kriegel, husband Mike. 
Blessed with her beautiful grandchildren, Jennifer Welch, Sarah Blakley, husband (Evan), Lauren Christlieb, Jessica Turner, husband (Tyrel). Great grandkids, Maya Kriegel, Everett Blakley, Eleanor Turner and soon to be Harlan Turner.
Celebration was held on January 12 at 10:30 a.m. Trinity Lutheran Church, 518 US-190, Copperas Cove Texas 76522. Burial was at 1:00 p.m. Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, 11463 TX-195 Killeen Texas 76542.
