John Nolan Cissell, age 61, died in a local hospital on September 24, 2014. He was born on April 3, 1953 in Mayfield, Kentucky to Jesse Ignatius and Mary Idella (Toon) Cissell. John married Karrie Joy Ort on September 30, 1995 at Niagara Falls, Canada. He was a member of Jehovah’s Witnesses- Kingdom Hall, Copperas Cove. He was baptized February 1987. He is preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother, Chris Cissell. Survivors include his wife Karrie Joy Cissell , 1 brother, Thomas “Walter” Cissell, 3 sisters, Patricia McDermott, Francis Hayden, and Marilyn Jane Barfield, and nieces and nephews. There will be a memorial service on October 4, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Jehovah’s Witnesses-Kingdom Hall, 908 Industrial Ave., Copperas Cove. Wayne Cooper will be officiating. Hewett-Arney Funeral Home of Temple is entrusted with arrangements.
