Mrs. Jean Hutton Henderson was born in Fairy, Texas, on June 21, 1923, and died after a brief illness on Friday, January 22, 2016, aged 92 years and 7 months. She was married to Ayres Monroe Henderson on January 24, 1942, celebrating their golden wedding anniversary in 1992. They had lived in Cleburne, Texas, since 1982.
Services will be held for Jean on Saturday, January 30, 2016, in the chapel of Harvest Hills Funeral Home of Hico, Texas. Visitation will be held in the chapel beginning at 9:00 am with the services beginning at 10:30 am. The graveside service will be held at the Fairy Cemetery in Fairy, Texas.
Her two daughters, Andrea Padilla of Rockdale and Marjean Henderson of Dallas; grandchildren, Christa Word and Joshua Word of Austin, four grandchildren and her sister Margie Wolfe of Bedford survive her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Andrew Hutton and Leila Lackey Hutton, of Hico; her husband Ayres Monroe Henderson of Cleburne; her two brothers, Paul L. Hutton of Clifton and Billy Wayne Hutton of Hico; and her son-in-law, Daniel M. Padilla of Rockdale.
