Erika Vidrine, age 80, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2016 surrounded by her family at home in Kempner. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Holy Family Catholic Church with burial following at Kempner Cemetery. A Rosary will be held at 6:00 PM, Tuesday, November 1, 2016 with visitation following until 7:00 PM at Scott’s Funeral Home of Copperas Cove.
Erika was born on April 29, 1936 to the late Johan and Francisca Berger in Germany. After she completed school, she met Joe Vidrine while he was serving in the United States in Germany. They married on November 12, 1962 in Germany.
She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Copperas Cove. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother.
Erika was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Joe Vidrine in 2014.
Erika is survived by her sons, Garry Vidrine, Floyd Vidrine; daughter, Alexis Vidrine; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church, 1001 Georgetown Road, Copperas Cove, TX 76522.
Scott’s Funeral Home of Copperas Cove is in charge of arrangements.
