Nearly 100 graduates from Copperas Cove and Kempner to walk the stage at CTC spring commencement

Central aTexas College (CTC) will recognize 91 graduates from Copperas Cove and Kempner as part of its Spring 2026 Commencement Ceremony, taking place tonight, May 8, at 6:30 p.m. at the Cadence Bank Center in Belton.

Nearly 1,000 total graduates will be honored during the ceremony, representing academic and workforce pathways that directly support Central Texas’s economy. Graduates represent dual credit, traditional, adult, and military‑connected students contributing to the Central Texas workforce.

Local Graduate Breakdown

78 graduates from Copperas Cove (58 of those from CCISD)

13 graduates from Kempner

Degrees and workforce certificates in healthcare, business, IT, criminal justice, and skilled trades

 

“This commencement celebrates more than achievement. It reflects the resilience of our graduates and the future they are ready to lead,” said Chancellor Dr. Michele J. Carter. “As we mark 60 years of serving our community, we take great pride in preparing students who are entering the workforce with the skills, determination, and vision to drive innovation and strengthen the future of Central Texas.”

The Spring Commencement Ceremony will honor graduates in person alongside family, friends, faculty, and community leaders. Doors open at 5 p.m.
