Gifted and Talented Students Make POP

By KERRI CHRISTENSEN

The gifted and talented students of Clements Parson Elementary create board games, books, presentations, and even a computer program. “The idea behind the project was to teach kids about the career or topic that they’re interested in,” said Gifted and Talented teacher, Julie Armstrong. Each student researched a topic of their choice based on something the student wanted to learn about. Then learned about the history of the chosen field that interested them and then put together something creative to show in the library of the school to the rest of the students and teachers.
