If I’ve heard it once, I’ve heard it a dozen times. You probably have too. “What is with this *$@%! city? We don’t need no more nail salons or storage centers or hair salons or—or— or” You fill in the blank. I agree. No more nail salons or hair salons or storage centers! Give me some great places for retail therapy—like clothing and shoe stores, so I don’t have to drive to Harker Heights and deal with that highway construction. Blech. Unfortunately, to some extent the city has no more power to “make” a business open or “stop” a business from opening than you or I do of choosing our next door neighbors.
